Ella Rice creates mixed media work, paintings, drawings, and digital art to nurture their soul. They weave together their lived experiences with captivating biophilic and fantastical imagery, creating work that is emotionally raw and mystical. To further intertwine their art with the world around them, Ella draws inspiration from history, folklore, philosophy, ecology, and astronomy, among other disciplines. In addition to original work, Ella is also an avid fanartist (under the pseudonym ‘Fang’) and is deeply passionate about the media they love.

Ella was born and raised in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, where they continue to live, adventure, and study. They will graduate in 2026 from Willamette University in Salem, with a BA in Studio Art and History (focusing on the premodern). Ella’s work has been most notably shown in multiple Juried Art Shows at Willamette University, and at Lunaria Gallery in Silverton, Oregon.
