Frequently Asked Questions & Answers
What’s the difference between @ellariceart and @fangdraws_?
@ellariceart began as a profile where I sold handmade earrings back in 2020, but has since evolved into the place that I post most of my original work. This profile is more professional and curated: I only post about my original work. Feel free to follow me on Instagram!
@fangdraws_ is a profile that I originally made to anonymously engage in fan culture, primarily by posting my own fanart. This profile is very casual: it’s a space for me to geek out with fellow fans about media I like. If you’re interested in fan content, feel free to follow me on Twitter and Instagram! I also have accounts on YouTube and TikTok, but they are largely inactive.
I’ve chosen to keep the two profiles separate to honor different subject matters, audiences, and levels of professionalism. The best way to see all of my work at once is to explore this website, and/or follow me on all of my socials!
What do you mean when you say, “digital art”?
In my practice, it’s exactly what it sounds like: digital drawing. The program and equipment that I use, Paint Tool SAI and the Wacom Cintiq 16, means that I am taking a physical stylus and using it to draw with a touchscreen tablet. If you’d like to see an example of this process, I have several old “speedpaint” videos on the fangdraws_ YouTube channel!
*Absolutely 0% of my work is AI-generated or AI-assisted, and I expressly forbid my artwork being fed to or used to train AI image generators and/or bots, in any shape or form*
Is your work for sale?
My work is not currently for sale, but this will change in the future! The ‘shop’ page of my website is a work in progress, and I plan to have prints and stickers of my work for sale on it (hopefully by the end of 2026). I’m also open to limited commission work: please email me with any specific questions.
Where can I buy/see your work in person?
For the latest information on any local exhibitions I am in, please follow my Instagram @ellariceart! I’m also considering the possibility of a mailing list: updates will be posted here and on social media.
Additionally, I have future plans to run artist booths selling prints, stickers, acrylic charms, etc. of my art at local conventions. As mentioned above, I also hope to sell online, so you will still have the opportunity to buy my work if you’re outside of the Pacific Northwest.
